All About The Jilly Box

What is the Jilly Box

The Jilly Box is a quarterly subscription box filled with products selected (and some even designed!) by Jillian and the team. The Jilly Box was born out of an idea to not only share some of Jillian’s favourite products but also as a way to help support small and upcoming businesses.

While there are no further subscriptions available for purchase at this time (Subscriptions are currently sold out), we do offer a selection of lucky Insiders the chance to make a one-time purchase each season during the Insiders Launch. 

As an Insider, if you are selected, you will have the opportunity to make a one-time purchase of a Jilly Box (valued at approximately $400.00 CAD or over) for only $199.00 CAD plus free shipping. However, you'll have to be speedy because they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and sell out quickly!

What is in the Jilly Box?

The Jilly Box is filled with products from Jillian’s (and Team Jilly Box’s!) favourite brands, covering home decor, fashion, bath and beauty, health and wellness, accessories, and everything in between. All while keeping seasonality top of mind, you can often find custom items within the Jilly Box that have been designed exclusively by Jillian and the brand!

The Jilly Box was born to support small local businesses, find ethically sourced products, and be inclusive to everyone.

What is a Subscriber & What Is An Insider?

Subscribers are guaranteed a Jilly Box every quarter. While there are no further subscriptions available at this time (subscriptions are currently sold out), you can still become an Insider by joining The Jilly Box Insiders Club!

As an Insider, you have a chance to be selected to purchase a Jilly Box each season! Plus, Insiders receive special offers, exclusive promo codes and first dibs on our sales events! Did we mention it’s free to join? 

How will the boxes vary each season?

All boxes are curated around a theme, which is announced on Theme Reveal Day seasonally! Some of our most recent box themes include ‘Good Morning’ (Spring 2024), ‘Après Ski’ (Winter 2023) and ‘Cozy Comforts’ (Fall 2023). Discover more past box themes here

How will I know if this box is right for me?

This box is for anyone who loves Jillian’s style, wants to support and discover small (predominantly North American) brands, and is looking for a way to treat themselves!

Purchasing & Payments

How do I purchase the Jilly Box?

For a chance to purchase a seasonal Jilly Box, sign up to become an Insider (if you haven't already!). 

Each season, on Lottery Launch Day, a selection of lucky Insiders are sent an email offering them a chance to make a one-time purchase of The Jilly Box. Each seasonal Jilly Box is valued at approximately $400.00 CAD—or more!—and available for only $199.00 CAD, plus applicable taxes (includes free shipping).

If you are selected for a chance to purchase a Jilly Box on Launch Day, you will be contacted via email. Keep your eyes peeled and act fast if you receive our invitation to purchase! Please note: quantities are limited, and the Jilly Boxes are sold on a first come first serve basis.

When our one-time purchasers successfully make their purchases, they will receive an email confirmation with details of their purchase. If you are not selected to make a one-time purchase, you will also be notified via email and will have another chance next season.

We also have a selection of other non-seasonal Jilly Boxes available on our market!

Can I purchase the box without a membership?

If you are not a Subscriber or an Insider, you will not have a chance to purchase a seasonal Jilly Box. We do, however, have a lineup of great non-seasonal Jilly Boxes available for purchase on our market! 

Will taxes be applied to my purchase?

At checkout, Canadian customers will be charged GST/HST/PST/QST based on the province to which the Jilly Box is shipped. Non-Canadian customers will not be charged any Canadian sales tax, but may be subject to sales tax in their local jurisdiction.

What is the price of the Jilly Box?

The Jilly Box is priced at $199 CAD (plus applicable taxes) and is valued at approximately $400.00+ CAD for each seasonal box. For customers outside of Canada, please check your exchange rate.

What is the currency of the Jilly Box?

The Jilly Box is a Canadian company, therefore, your purchase will be in Canadian dollars. If you use a credit card that is in a different currency, your purchase may be converted by your credit card company to the currency of your credit card in accordance with their terms and conditions.

What credit cards do you accept?

The Jilly Box accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express payments from customers. Pay Pal is not accepted.

Can I purchase more than one box?

There is a limit of one Jilly Box purchase per customer.

Why doesn't my discount work in The Jilly Box Market?

Published discounts may not apply to all products in the Market.  Please check product descriptions to confirm.

Sale prices will be honored for purchases made within 48 hours of our promotional launch date. Please contact support@jillybox.com for more information.

If I don't select my preferences for The Summer 2024 Jilly Box, will my credit card be automatically billed on the last day of the selection period?

As we migrate to our new subscription system, there are two scenarios for Subscribers:

*If you not sure which scenario applies to you, please contact our customer service team.

  1. Subscribers whose cards are not on file (did not purchase The Winter 2023 or Spring 2024 Jilly Boxes) will need to complete the checkout process and enter their payment information. This is necessary to receive The Summer 2024 Jilly Box and to automatically be charged for future seasonal Jilly Boxes. All details for the new subscription system are outlined in the Subscriber Agreement, which can be reviewed at any time.

Subscribers whose cards are on file should checkout to select the add-ons of their choosing; however, they will not be required to re-enter their payment information. If checkout is not completed or the Subscriber does not skip the current season's box, they will be charged automatically for that season's Jilly Box (as per the Subscriber Agreement).

What if I skip The Summer 2024 Jilly Box? Will I be automatically billed in July for the Fall 2024 Jilly Box?

If your card is not on file (you skipped The Winter 2023 and The Spring 2024 Jilly Boxes and will skip The Summer 2024 Jilly Box), you will not be automatically billed for The Fall 2024 Jilly Box. 

If your card IS on file (you DID purchase any or all of the following: The Winter 2023, Spring 2024 or Summer 2024 Jilly Boxes), you WILL be automatically charged for The Fall 2024 Jilly Box, unless you select ‘skip this box.’ 

Shipping & Returns

How do I choose my size?

As the items in the box are a secret, we ask that you choose your regular go-to size. For add-on and market apparel items, we will provide sizing information to help guide you.

What if I chose the wrong size?

All sales are final and we cannot accommodate exchanges like this, we suggest regifting as an option!

What is the cost of shipping?

We offer free shipping on all seasonal Jilly Boxes! However, any customs, duties, value-added, federal, state, local or other taxes outside of Canada are not included. As a Jilly Box member, you are responsible for paying for any such taxes related to the location you live. The Jilly Box has the right to charge you for any taxes we believe are required to pay or collect related to your purchase. Additionally, when you spend over $150 on the Market, you'll receive free shipping!

Where do you ship to?

We ship to Canada via Canada Post and to the U.S. via Canada Post/USPS. We hope to ship to more places in the future!

When will each season's box ship?

*DATES ARE APPROXIMATE*

WINTER: NOVEMBER/DECEMBER

SPRING: FEBRUARY/MARCH

SUMMER: MAY/JUNE

FALL: AUGUST/SEPTEMBER

Can I change my shipping address?

Subscribers can change their address in their account up until they purchase the seasonal box or until the end of the Subscriber selection/purchase period.

If Insiders input the wrong address when placing their order or Subscribers have the wrong address listed on their account when their order goes through, they can get in touch with our customer service team. Please note: an address change on an order can only be accommodated if the shipping label has not yet been printed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Subscribers can cancel their membership in the online portal at least 30 days before the next billing date.

All Jilly Boxes & market items, however, are final sale, and once an order has been placed we cannot accommodate returns or exchanges.

Will I be able to recycle the box?

Yes, the box is made by a Canadian-operated company that creates FSC-certified boxes in Canada that are recyclable and carbon neutral. The boxes are also designed to be reused prior to recycling. You can flip your box inside out and use it to store items like photographs, scrunchies, nail polish, seashells, and anything else your heart desires. What happens if a product in my box arrives damaged?

If a product arrives damaged in your Jilly Box, you have 30 days to claim a replacement if applicable.

New Subscription System

When I log into my Jilly Box subscription account, should I use the same email and password as before?

Yes. Your credentials used to log in to The Jilly Box website will remain the same.

If I have recently changed my email on the account and I can't log in what should I do?

Please email our support team at support@jillybox.com and they will be happy to help.

Will I need to re-enter my credit card information to purchase my Jilly Box?

If you are a Subscriber and you entered your payment information for The Winter 2023 or Spring 2024 Jilly Boxes and your card is still valid, you will not need to add it again; however, if you did not purchase either of those recent Jilly Boxes, you will need to enter your payment information. After placing your next box order, your payment information will be stored, and you will be set up for automatic billing for upcoming seasons.

Will I need to re-enter my shipping information?

No. After you place your first Jilly Box order in the new system your payment information will be saved and ready to use next time you log in. You will not be required to add it every time!

Will I still be able to skip seasonal boxes?

Yes. If you wish to skip a seasonal box, go to your ‘Manage Subscription’ Page and select ‘Skip a shipment’ to skip this season’s box.

Will I be automatically billed on the 20th every 3 months like I was in the past?

With the new system, your card will be billed as soon as you place the order for your seasonal Jilly Box within the Subscriber selection period. However, if you do not checkout or opt out of the box, you will be automatically billed at the end of the Subscriber selection period.

If I select my in-box preferences and add-ons, but don't check out right away, will the items I selected be secured for me?

No. Your items will only be secured once you place your order for your Jilly Box and add-ons, if applicable.

If I leave items in my cart and choose not to add my credit card information until the last day of the subscriber selection period, will the items I added to my cart still be saved for me?

No. In order to secure the items and sizes you have selected for your Jilly Box you must check out as soon as you have made your choices.

Can I change the shipping address once I have placed my order?

If you need to change your shipping address once an order has been placed, please email our support team at support@jillybox.com. Please note that your shipping address can only be updated before shipping labels are printed.

Can I change my size or add-on selection once my order has gone through?

Unfortunately not. Please carefully select your sizes and add-ons before placing your order. If your order is incorrect once you receive your order confirmation, please contact our support team at support@jillybox.com for next steps.
